Don’t forget to hand in

  • alphabet illustration created in Adobe Illustrator (alongside the letter)
  • alphabet illustration created in Adobe Photoshop (alongside the letter)
  • PDF portfolio (minimum of 10 images plus your logo)
  • tumblr posts for your journal

**Don’t forget to add in the feedback from the critique to your tumblr blog**

Add in your sketches, screenshots of work in progress as well as images you find useful to your research and production techniques.

Make sure you are posting on a regular basis so that you get as much information down as possible!

Digital Image 2 Journal

Good to see some of you have already had the incentive to post your work as you are going along. 

Make sure you include the following throughout the semester:

  • Research into other artists/illustrators/animators etc
  • Research for the brief given
  • Independent and critical comments on the work you are developing, why you are choosing one choice over another, what is the reason for a colour, typeface, viewpoint choice.
  • Developmental screenshots and tools you have used within the software and how you have applied the techniques to your work.
  • Problems you have come across, technically and creatively.
  • Evaluation on your progress
  • Evaluation on the final pieces
  • Peer comments after the critiques on your work.
  • Include links to any websites you have used as reference and what it refers to in the creative work.
